From Auckland Airport

Discount Taxis offer the best competitive cash rate from the airport to Queen’s Wharf, downtown Auckland. Other Taxi Companies are also available to all arrivals. Sky Bus is a bus service that will bring you to Queen’s Wharf, downtown Auckland. You can also fly direct from Auckland Domestic Airport with HELETRANZ.

From Downtown Auckland or Half Moon Bay

There is one main passenger ferry service to Waiheke Island and a vehicle ferry.

The passenger ferry departs from downtown Auckland travelling to Matiatia wharf on Waiheke – Fullers. This journey will take between 35 – 45 minutes.

Sealink Vehicle and Passenger Ferries operate from Half Moon Bay or Wynyard Quarter to Kennedy Point on Waiheke. This trip can take 45 minutes from Half Moon Bay or 1 ½ hours from Wynyard Quarter.

From Matiatia

Buses, taxis and shuttles meet the majority of all ferry sailings into Matiatia. By taxi or shuttle it is approximately a 15 minute drive and all the drivers know our establishment well. Aboard the bus, this can take up to approximately 45 minutes as it takes you on a bit of a tiki tour along the way. The bus stop will stop directly outside our apartments and again, all the drivers know of Onetangi Beach Apartments.

From Kennedy Point

We recommend if travelling by foot you book a taxi to bring you to us, or we can arrange this for you if you know the sailing you will be on. If you are bringing your vehicle, you will be driving on Donald Bruce Road. At the end of this road you will come to an intersection where you will need to turn right towards Onetangi. Continue on this main road until you pass a Gas Station and head down the road towards the beach. We are located on your right hand side just before you reach the end of the road. Taxis

Taxis operate 7 days per week, and some companies operate 24 hours. It is a good idea to book large groups if requiring a number of vehicles as they can get extremely busy over the summer season and weekends. If you have to be somewhere at a certain time in the busy months and for wedding groups – we recommend pre-booking your vehicle at least two hours before you would like to be picked up.
